Is ONNI universally suitable for all hair types?

We offer three different product lines to cater to different hair needs. Our main focus is on thinning hair that is losing volume and hormonal hair loss. In addition, healthy, thick hair also benefits from ONNI, as our effective and pure formula is designed to maintain and improve hair quality in the long term.

What is the ideal hair care routine to combat sun stress & co in summer?

Sun stress for the hair is mainly caused by heat, chlorine and salt water. Heat removes moisture from the hair and scalp and also dries out the scalp. This is primarily caused by sweat, which has a high salt content that remains on the scalp even after the heat. This puts a strain on the hair roots, the nutrient supply is no longer as good and the effects often only become apparent after a few weeks - hair breaks faster and grows back less vigorously. We recommend the ONNI Heat Protector, which protects against heat and moisturizes at the same time.

Chlorine and salt water should always be rinsed out thoroughly, preferably after every dip in cool water, to prevent damage. For blonde hair in particular, this prevents a green tint, which is caused by the copper content in the water when it oxidizes to green pigment under UV light. Masks and rich conditioners are an absolute must-have in summer. Our ONNI Hair Growth Mask is applied directly to the scalp and hair before washing - a real game changer when it comes to saving time. While the beach bag is being unpacked, the mask has already unfolded its nourishing effect.

Is there anything to bear in mind when portioning shampoo, conditioner or treatment?

As a general rule, too little care is more damaging to the hair than too much. Hair and scalp should be thoroughly cleansed after washing. We recommend double cleansing: first a short wash with a small amount of shampoo, then a second wash with a little more shampoo - from the scalp to the lengths. As water causes the hair cuticle to swell, the slightly acidic pH value of ONNI Conditioner helps to close it again. A small amount is sufficient - it is important to distribute it evenly. The hair should also be gently detangled with your hands. Like all ONNI products, the ONNI Hair Mask is also applied to the scalp. As the hair is washed afterwards, it remains light and is not unnecessarily weighed down - even when applied abundantly.

If you want to strengthen your hair with the care range - how long do you have tohave to be patient until results become visible?

A beautiful volume and more grip are already noticeable after the first application. However, the effect on the hair root and a change in hair density only become apparent after 8 to 12 weeks, with our customers reporting that hair loss decreases significantly or stops completely. In addition, a well nourished and activated hair root not only influences hair thickness, but also the duration of the growth phase. The process can be compared to a flower bed: If the soil is well fertilized, the flowers will also grow strong and healthy.

You have spent years working on perfect hair care - how important is the care/protection of the scalp?

At ONNI, we focus on the scalp and hair roots. Our Hair Growth Serum is the key product and bestseller of the entire range. It acts like a nutrient elixir for the scalp, and the effectiveness of the Follicusan growth booster it contains has been proven in studies. Many hair and scalp problems are caused by aggressive surfactants or ingredients such as silicones or polyquaternium, which literally seal the scalp. This is where ONNI comes in: with thorough cleansing that removes build-up and a nourishing formula of arnica, caffeine, follicusan and many other plant-based active ingredients to strengthen the scalp - combined with exclusively mild surfactants.

The Sensitive range offers an optimal solution for sensitive scalps. It contains no essential oils and is particularly gentle, so it can be used without hesitation even on sensitive scalps.

And where will you be going on vacation in summer 2025?

As a mother of two children, I appreciate places where we arrive and immediately feel at home. Sardinia has been such a place for us for a few years now - so we'll be spending the summer there again.

Which beauty products (apart from ONNI) should never be missing on vacation?

I do a minimalist routine on vacation - always my all-time favorite: ByTerry Brightening CC Highlighter - with a little gloss, that's all I need.

Do you have a personal beauty hack when traveling/on the plane...?

Water. Water. Water. That's all you need for a short trip in my opinion.

A special favorite summer fragrance?

I prefer to use citrusy fragrances in summer, such as PHLUR Somebody Wood.

Which one product would you take to a desert island - and why?

Without a doubt: our Hair Growth Serum. Invigorating freshness and moisture. And I would certainly be able to smuggle in some shimmering lip care too.
